A First!

This month over at Punky Scraps we were asked to be inspired by this

Now I'm not one for doing much apart from scrapbooking and I didn't really have a clue where to start as the twist for this month was to use as much texture etc as you possibly could.

So...

I scrounged a thin canvas from my daughter and that's when it all turned very messy!

And I have to say, I really enjoyed it.

Painting, spraying, brayering (if that's a word), smudging, glittering until my project was done

The cute little saying states "when you don't know what to do, paint!" which I thought was very apt.

My texture comes from decorators' caulk, a far cheaper option to gesso, texture paste etc.

I also used acrylic paint, glitter, sprays and added a glossy finish.
