Puzzled

Challenge #3 over on the Counterfeit Kit Blog is to be inspired by puzzles.

I had a lightbulb moment and decided to create my own puzzle and found a website to help.

Using Puzzle Maker I created a crossword to use as my journalling on my layout.
This is what the website generated...

Can you see my problem?
No matter what I did, I just couldn't get the words numbered correctly to make any sense.

Plan B (and not how I wanted it to look), I used my trusty Cameo to print and cut
the words so I could arrange them in the correct order to create a
word search style effect and here is the outcome...

BUT...

I wasn't totally happy with the fact that my layout wasn't very "puzzly"
so I found some printable crossword paper, cut a few shapes and added them to the layout to
create that more "puzzly" look...

How will you create that "puzzly" look?

Don't forget to link up so us Master Forgers can pop by and take a look.

Jumpers in July!

I blinked! And June was gone.
What happened to the heatwave that the United Kingdom was supposed to be enjoying?
July already and I'm sitting here wearing a jumper (or sweater for my "across the pond" buddies)
 and drinking hot chocolate!!!

I am third on the Counterfeit Kit Reveal Hop for this month so if you want to start at the beginning,
Gretchen (our Guest Designer) is first and I'm sure she would be delighted if you could stop by
to see how she has interpreted the kit which, this month, is
courtesy of Scrapbook and Cards Today and debuted last year...

I chose the bits from the kit that I liked and here is the result.

Firstly the papers (and I apologise for the poor lighting in my photos, as I said above,
I thought I may have seen a glimmer of that round thing in the sky to go outside
however it was extremely elusive when I was free!)

and for the embellishments...

And the name of my kit for this month...

What will your kit look like?
However big or small, show us yours by linking up over on our BLOG.
