Tick, Tick, Tick

Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today.

I've certainly learned that today although I'm not sure I'll be able to move tomorrow.
Today I realised that the jobs I've been putting off have actually been quite easy and not taken half as long as I originally thought.
  • Assembled 4 kitchen wall units
  • Chosen and ordered bedroom carpet
  • Chosen and ordered hall, stairs and landing carpet
  •  Fixed the above cupboards to wall
  • Boarded loft
  • Started and completed scrapbook page
Using my April Counterfeit Kit "Ditto" with a couple of small additions (envelope and alphas) I have got rid of another two holiday photos. I've used the negative hexagons from my stickers sheet and my new Polaroid die cuts which I absolutely love.

The "story enclosed" is all about how the idea of driving along a beach sounded quite fun until I actually drove onto the beach. So many of the other drives we saw were in 4x4s. The hard sand was fine but getting on and off the beach was a different matter, very soft sand! The best way was to put my foot down and dare not to stop. The other obstacle was the little stream running down to the sea. I paddled through it first to see how deep it was and again put my foot down until we got to the other side!!

Right, I think I've done enough today, I'm off to collapse in a snotty heap....
