Yesterday was Crop Day.
I so look forward to Crop Day as, although I'm very lucky that I can more or less do some every day at home, I enjoy spending my time with some lovely people who have the same interests.
I even managed to cut down on my usually massive stash that I take along thanks to my February Counterfeit Kit. OK so I know there's a lot there but you should see what I usually take.
I managed 4 pages yesterday (one of which I will keep for a later date) including my entry for the Purple Pumpkin February Sketch Challenge which I will show you first.
My daughter was so scared of the fact there maybe little creatures in the grass that her feet hardly touched the ground. Even when she stopped to wait for us to catch up she was running on the spot!!!
The next two, still using my kit, are just my own without following any sketches/challanges (which I haven't done for a while now)
The layout above depicts the standing joke on our holiday last year where nearly everyday we would eat our cereal out of square plastic bowls and make cheese rolls in the morning to have a picnic along the way. DD hates it when the cheese gets a bit warm. Following the west coast of America we were lucky to see some of the biggest Redwoods in the world but by the time we'd seen one or two, DD just rolled her eyeballs every time we said we would be seeing more!!!
I love our family holidays and (mostly) enjoy every minute of them. I try to get lots of photos of us as a family and I love this one taken on one of the many beaches as we travelled down the coast.
Such pretty LO's. so fun that that you got to take your CKC along to a crop.
ReplyDeleteBlessings ~~ dawn
beautiful layouts. Glad you had fun at your crop
ReplyDeleteSmashing pages - I love the photo of I running away - so funny. It's also great that you have captured so many shots of the three of you in such creative ways/beautiful settings ... not just handing a camera over to a passer-by for an awkward cheesy grin shot.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a crop, looks like it was very productive for you. Great layouts
ReplyDeleteOooh thats what I do!!! I take my kits along to crops and camps because its ready to go... just got to take a stack of photos!
ReplyDeleteLove your LO's - gorgeous work
I love your use of the envelopes in the second layout. But all three are great layouts!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome layouts! Looks like you had a fabulous vacation. My favorite photo is the one in the third layout. And...you've reminded me...I need to pack some kits for an upcoming crop!!!
ReplyDeleteAll 3 layouts are beautiful, but my fav is the 3rd one. Love the colors and the design.
