I can't believe this is my third month of being back
with the Counterfeit Team.
"Time flies when you're having fun" as they say!
This month our inspiration kit is from Germany and is the
March 2016 Kit by The Papier Werkstatt.
When I saw this kit for the first time
I was quite worried about how small and compact it was
but soon realised how nice it was that I could put more time
into forging and creating a kit that will (hopefully) be used up.

our Guest Designer, Karen Lai aka Pinky Crafter
Her vibrant and fun layouts always put a smile on my face
so pop backwards one if you've missed her kit.
My kit, as you've probably already gathered,
like the inspiration is small
and the side by side pictures will show my comparisons.
Can you guess how many forgeries have made their way
into my kit this month?
Don't forget to pop back on the 4th to see
if you got the correct answer!
So, my August Kit
"Zeit Vergeht"
(is that right Lisa?)
looks a bit like this...
Before you go I just wanted to show you this
lovely brown faux leather letter rack that I picked up in a
local charity shop for 50p.
I knew that (with a little added vinyl)
it would be perfect for keeping my Counterfeit Kit in on my craft desk.
You'll be seeing a lot more of it too!.
Don't forget to link up all of your August creations.
You can find Mr Linky and the full blog hop list over at the
but next on the list today is
Nicely done - and I see some perfect embellishments for recent photos! See you Saturday xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love that denim bag, and so happy that you are back with us! Great kit!And what a great find, that holder is just lovely!
ReplyDeleteOh I really like your take on the kit. You've added some fun stuff. And kudos on decorating the organizer - it looks fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteLove the kraft/blue color combination, especially the denim! Looks like there are quite a few forgeries in there too. And your customized letter holder is perfect to keep your kit front and center for the month!
ReplyDeleteI left comments on you email. Sorry!. I love your touches of blues to go with the neutrals.
ReplyDeleteIs that Europe map a print and cut file? I got the SC stamp and die cut but I think it's smaller and cuts out all the countries individually... A super kit - I spy quite a few forgeries (well, I think they are!) - I'll go for two papers and three other items as my guess! We are SO SO happy to have you back with us. Your kits and approach to the whole kit thing is so inspiring and i love what you've created today. Scrap on!
ReplyDeleteScore! That holder is really going to put your kit at hand & clever girl to customize it so beautifully. I love that you've built the details of your kit to encompass your recent Spanish getaway. As always your presentation really shows off the success of your forgery! Well done & GREAT name (so proud that I figured it out before I looked it up, hehe) Haven't a guess about the forgeries, but Lisa's got an eagle eye so I trust she's spied them out :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic kit :) I love the choices you brought into it too and the pop of blue is great :)
ReplyDeleteGreat kit - I love the kraft and blue color scheme! Love the letter holder that you personalized too..
ReplyDeleteJust lovely--very original take on the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteOh that caddy is great...customized with the vinyl. Love it! I love the combination of blues and gold you created. That is a dreamy combo. Happy Scrapping!
