Welcome to November and to our Guest Designer, Vikki.

From Julene in sunny Oz
I hope you put your coat back on before hopping over to me in a very cold UK.
The heating is up, the woolly jumpers are out in force, the leaves are finally falling off the trees and to coincide,
the Counterfeit Kit to forge this month is the very Autumnal

Knowing that most of my pile of photographs are from our Summer holiday, this month I have based my kit more on the patterns rather than the colours and converted the Autumnal embellishments to a Summery alternative.
And here it is "Heat", my November Counterfeit Kit...

Patterned paper choices and transparencies - Bow Ties by Basic Grey
Alpha sheet - Serenade by Basic Grey
Chipboard Alphas - Lush by MME
Washi Tape (because I can't have a kit without it)
Heart Frame
Metal Words
Diecut arrows
Wood Veneer Flowers - Studio Calico
Pie Chart Stencil
Selection of stamps (I really need to use them more!)
Homemade Sequins

Thank you for hopping by today, however you interpret this month's kit, have fun!!!
Lisa is next on the hop and she never disappoints...

  1. Some fun looking stuff in your kit. Good job on reinterpreting the kit to make it your own.

  2. Ohhh I love both those kits. :) Hope I have enough stuff left to join in this month.

  3. hey nice post meh, You are one of the best writers I've seen of recent. I love your style of blogging here. this post reminds me of an equally interesting post that I read some time ago on Daniel Uyi's blog: You're Already Closer To Your Goal Than You Think .
keep up the good work friend. I will be back to read more of your posts.

  4. I love that you have turned it more summery! What a great way to go - especially if you are feeling cold. I love the colder weather so I'm happy :-)

But you are so right - I rarely scrap with the seasons, creating christmas pages in the summer and summer pages whenever I want. Your kit is really pretty - lots of warm patterns and colours. So, summer in November? why not ;-)

  5. Great kit - good idea with the stamps - must use mine more often too!

  6. Great twist of summer look to a autumn inspiration kit! love it.

  7. Great way to interpret the inspiration to suit your photos. You should feel nice and toasty as you re-visit your holiday while scrapping!

  8. Such a lovely way to make this kit work for your needs. These colors are beautiful. The stamp sets are a spectacular addition.

  9. This is an amazing kit! I love it, you are very good at putting them together! It just all looks so wonderful

  10. So perfect for your vacay pics! Should be a cinch to use this one up on those :~D

  11. Much further south we have yet to turn on the heat! We've had a few nights in the 40's F! That's really chilly for this Texan! Yet at the same time you would think 105 F is HOT! I love the name Heat for your kit! The colors and patterns are so pretty! I'm so looking forward to what you create!

  12. loved that you went pattern based; can't wait to see some creations since your kit is more on the cool palette!

  13. oh my gosh... I want to come play with your kit!!! Its looks fabulous and would suit our weather here in OZ at the moment!! Colours are fabulous!

  14. It looks wonderful.Great colours for holiday snaps and cute wooden flowers.

  15. It's cold and rainy here, so your Heat kit is looking mighty good right now.

  16. I love your change of theme!!! Your kit is quite lovely! And will bring some joy to you as you look out your window at the rainy and cold UK (we are cold where I am at too but not quite as cold as you are-YET).

  17. Love how you made it a summer kit! I can't make a kit without washi either! :)

  18. I do love a bit of 'heat' in November - and your kit is no exception. The colours, embellishments and stamps are right up my street! Looking at some of the projects you've already made, I'm realising that I love your scrapbooking style too - so I'll be back x

Thank you so much for leaving me some love!
