Dig it Out

Hi and welcome to my part in the August Counterfeit Kit Hop.
I hope you have hopped over from Elaine.
If not why not hit the start and see ALL the creations?

I had a fair bit of vellum in my kit.
Vellum is one of those "comeback" items don't you think?
I've had plenty sat in a cupboard for years and now it's making several appearances.
(It's hard to photograph though!)

I love this photo of the child and her friend taken in Spain and wanted to keep the layout "soft" to avoid taking the eye away from it.

It's now time to head off to see Laura, thanks for stopping by and see you soon.

  4. as you know, I adore vellum and use it all the time. in fact, I've been using it from the very beginning so for me it's never gone out of style. and layouts like this showcase why it's so perfect. the use of the vellum negative title block is perfect! I haven't tried cutting vellum with the Cameo but as soon as it's out of its packing box, you can be sure I'll be giving it a go. this is a stunning layout!

  5. Perhaps it is about time I get a silhouette. It cuts vellum, too! Of course it does, that thing does everything! Looks fabulous against the splattered background.

  7. Beautiful layout and I agree that vellum is a comeback item and seems to make it's way back :) It makes the layout beautifully softened :)
