Back to the Future

So last week I was soooo behind that I didn't know if I was coming or going.
This week I'm AHEAD of myself and it's such a good feeling
to have a bit of breathing space.
I could vow to stay more up to date in future but I know that's not going to happen
so, for now, I will enjoy that feeling of contentment and leave you will all the cards I've made in the last 24 hours!
(Well there are a few that I can't show as a reader or two might see them!)

I was inspired by THIS pin for the Minion card and the anniversary card
from THIS pin.

I'm glad I'm ahead as today I'm meeting Mum and Dad for coffee before indulging in a
full two hours of pampering which includes a facial and body massage.
BLISS!!!

12 Pledges @ Wearcrafts (Part Three)

I have loved working with the
12 Pledges Kit
 this month.
The colour palette and style are just so pleasing to the eye.

For my final layout, I've gone a bit wonky!
I wasn't sure if it would work when I first started moving the bits around the page.
What do you think?
I kind of tilt me head to look at it!
One thing's for sure, the child will hate me for blogging this photo!

I also made a couple of card and to be honest there is probably enough of the kit left to make 4 more.

These kits from Wearcrafts are such good value and I already can't wait to play
with the next one.
Don't forget...Jen and Virginia have blogged their work too so why
not hop over and see them?

CH#1 over at the Counterfeit Kit Blog is to create a tone on tone background
and although this layout complies, I haven't used my Counterfeit Kit to create it.
I will be joining in with the monthly CKCB Hop with my Counterfeit Kit CH#1 layout.
Will you join in with us this month?
If you fancy taking part, all the details can be found HERE

June SIPIDI

I was recently asked me to make a card
for a 40 year old who is having a festival
to celebrate her big birthday.
(How cool is that!?)

I was really unsure how I would go about this card
but once again Pinterest came up trumps.

Take a look at the PIN
there's a free template to make the tent too!

Not sure where Zippy comes into it although I seem to remember that it's called
The Zippy Festival.

SIPIDI (see it, pin it, do it) is the brainchild of Fiona
over at
Staring at the Sea
Why not join in and get some of those pinned projects started and even completed!

12 Pledges @ Wearcrafts (Part Two)

On Saturday, I promised I would be back with another layout from the
from Wearcrafts.
I have loved playing with kit, the colours are just perfect for this photo of the child
don't you think?

I've made 3 layouts and two cards from a kit that costs £5.
What value!
Will you be lucky enough to grab one of the last ones?

I'll be back with my final layout and a couple of cards on Wednesday
but why not have a look at what Jen and Virginia have created with the kit too?

Oh What a Day!

Today marks my first anniversary of being a Master Forger
which also coincides with my birthday.
This month will also see my 500th blog post and there will be a little blog competition going on here.
Stay tuned if you fancy winning a little prize from me.

I am also delighted to be revealed as a new DT Member over at the
Challenge YOURself blog today.

Wow, what a day!!!

So whose kits have you seen so far?
Bethany, Angela
and Jemma (there'll certainly be no pink in that one!)
Then there's Julene who has hopefully sent you here to see my choice from
the two kits
and
I liked both of the chosen two this month but
the High Five Kit won it for me as I love the bold, happy colours although as you will see
from my forgeries below, those happy colours didn't transfer to my kit!

12 Pledges @ Wearcrafts (Part One)

It's that time of the month again when Jen reveals the
12 Pledges Kit
over at Wearcrafts.
This month the kit is made by Glitz Design
and Jen has aptly named it
Having just opened her Creative Craft Space up there in the North East she is always so optimistic
and happy to give things a go.
Life is too short not to try don't you think and I have no doubt that
her venture will be a raging success.

My layout is all about how the child says she hates walking BUT I think she is truly a secret lover of walking.

I have added a few extras into my £5 kit.
The Instascrap by Leeza Gibbons doesn't have to be used for PL pages and the quantity you get in these packs is phenomenal so why not share with a friend?

Due to their excellent value for money these kits fly out of the door
(and stock is already limited)
so be sure to grab one if you're interested.

Virginia, my fellow Dteamie has already posted her fabulous creations with the kit HERE
and I'll be back in a couple of days with more too.
