Another One!!!

Yesterday I blogged a layout based on Sue's February Sketch Challenge.

I mentioned that I'd had another idea in my scrappy head so, as the saying goes - "strike while the iron's hot" - I cleared all the c**p off my desk and created my first layout at home for over a year!!!!

Sue's sketch just shouted "newspaper" out to me and with all my snippets of Storm Imogen just waiting to be used, I knew what had to be done.

You see, if you don't know me, my daughter is Imogen and she took a fair bit of stick when the last storm of the Winter was named "Imogen" especially as my "boss" in the charity shop calls her "Thermal" - do you get the connection?
Thermal Imaging (Imogen)!!!

I do like how it turned out, far easier than cutting up that photo in my previous attempt at the sketch!!!!

Two Out Of Two

So far so good this year in joining in with Sue's Monthly Sketch Challenge.
Yeah OK, so it's only February but that's a huge achievement for me!!!

Sue always posts the challenge just in time for the monthly crop I attend so it's perfect to get my creativity going.

This month's sketch had my brain working overtime and I even have another idea in my head although I doubt I will have time to get it done before the 29th of February deadline!

So, before I babble on too much, here is the sketch...

...and here is my interpretation (having flipped it 90 degrees clockwise) of it...

The hardest part for me was measuring the photo and cutting in the right places to avoid going through and vital parts!

I used my Quirky Kit, another thing that I always take to the crop. Gone are the days when I cart everything there - I now take my kit and the essentials!!!

I hope to have my other idea scrapped in time to link up to Sue's page over at Me and Mine.
Will you join in?
Go on, you're in with a chance of winning one of Sue's kits if you win!!!
