Little did I know that when I received my last kit from Wearcrafts, Jen had added a few sheets of
Bo Bunny - The Avenues
for me to play with.
Time hasn't been on my side for a few days but I didn't want to leave this little lot in that bag any longer.
These papers are gorgeous and absolutely perfect for a photo I took of my Dad a couple of years ago at No21.
You see, he lived there in that terraced with his family for years so when I heard that the whole street was to be demolished I got in touch with the local council to see if we could go in just one last time.
They obliged and gave us the key.
It was amazing listening to my Dad telling me the stories of the happenings in that house and showing me where the bomb shelter was and pointing out the original bits and bobs of decor.

So, as you can see, perfect papers for my layout of this captured moment.

I went back just after the demolition and salvaged one of the original bricks for him too.

  1. You're a good un' . I love these papers too. Not sure why I never got them. Great story behind this layout.

  2. what a fantastic story behind the photograph and so glad the council helped you out

  3. A great story - and a lovely page. Amazing that you heard about it in time and actually DID something about it - good for you x

  4. Awesome page and great story! Loving all the clocks and their colors!!!

  5. Love that story, such a sweet layout.

  6. I hope you've captured some of those stories on the layout with hidden journaling of some sort *wink*!

  7. Wonderful page - I hope you'll journal on those details (maybe on the back) too.

Thank you so much for leaving me some love!
